VALEMO takes part in the “La mer en débat” public debate

Since November 20, and until April 26, 2024, the “Le Mer en Débat” public debate is taking place, the outcome of which will be of great importance for the planning of future French offshore wind farms (but not only…). www.debatpublic.fr/la-mer-en-debat. At the “Assises de l’Économie de la Mer” held in Nantes on November 28 and 29, 2023, the French President confirmed the target of 18GW in operation by 2035, raised the installed capacity of offshore wind farms to 45GW by 2050, and relaunched the marine turbines initiative. By 2025, 10GW of offshore wind projects will be put out to tender!

Driven for 10 years by the desire to participate in the structuring of the national offshore wind energy industry, and present on every coastline, VALEMO will take part in this exercise in democratic expression, as was the case in the past during the public inquiries for the 1st offshore wind farms now in operation and under construction. We invite our business partners to do the same, both professionally and privately; everything is clearly explained on the dedicated website: Différents moyens de participer : plateforme et outils numériques (debatpublic.fr)
