VALEMO and RES on Saint-Brieuc substation.

Initiated in 2018 through punctual maintenance missions on the offshore electrical substation of the Arkona wind project (in the Baltic Sea, Germany), completed in 2022 with remote supervision services for the electrical substation of the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind project, VALEMO continues to develop its electrical substation maintenance services for offshore wind power and goes a step further on the Saint-Brieuc wind farm through a collaboration with RES.

Our mission covers preventive maintenance, preservation and maintenance in operational conditions of the electrical substation of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm. The mission includes inspections, controls and tests of the electrical and structural equipment of the structure and will be carried out by our specialized teams located in Brittany and Pays-de-la-Loire.

Our ambition is to be a key player in the maintenance of offshore wind farms and to participate in the structuring of the French offshore wind industry. In this perspective, the Charter of commitment to local industrial content was signed in June 2022 during SEANERGY. VALEMO also has other ambitions for the electrical substations supplied by Les Chantiers de l’Atlantique, which will be set up in the coming months and years in Normandy and Pays de la Loire, in addition to its offshore wind turbine activities.
