// MRE-Offshore: VALEMO continues to support floating offshore wind projects

VALEMO continues to support floating offshore projects by using its wind expertise to help innovative companies involved in the development of new technologies.

Our teams are currently working alongside SAIPEM teams in support of the AFLOWT project funded by INTERREG North West Europe, to share our knowledge of turbines and their performance and maintenance needs. The engineering phases of renewable energy projects too often neglect the long term operation and maintenance aspects, whereas by dealing with them early in the project design, OPEX costs and HSE aspects can be greatly optimised.

This rewarding collaboration is in addition to our activities on the Groix-Belle Ile project for Eolfi, the technical assistance provided to EOLINK and other float and turbine suppliers.

VALEMO is proud to accompany exciting projects in the development of marine renewable energies and more particularly in floating wind turbines!
