Operation
of a wind farm
Valemo operates the Sainte Rose wind farm in Guadeloupe, which faces more complex challenges than those encountered in mainland France: an island grid, extreme weather conditions (cyclones), an energy management system (EMS), storage, improvements to the turbulence management strategy, environmental constraints, etc.
Operation of a solar farm
In order to meet its customers’ expectations, the PV Operations team has adapted to a range of technologies and a large number of different suppliers, as well as complex constraints such as those at the Brach solar power station. Indeed, this power station, situated in the heart of the Médoc forest, faces significant biodiversity challenges and requires rigorous fire risk management.
Operation of a hydroelectric power station
The Operations team works closely with the Maintenance teams to optimise production and safety at Force Hydraulique Antillaise’s hydroelectric power stations. It also liaises with local stakeholders such as water and electricity network operators.
