HVA maintenance and on-call services: centralizing to enhance performance

HVA activity is part of VALEMO’s DNA. As soon as we were founded in 2011, we made the strategic decision to bring this skill in-house, by training our first technicians in HTA cell maintenance.

While HVA equipment may seem standard from one industrial sector to another, that dedicated to renewable energy installations has its own particularities, which we have quickly mastered. Today, this expertise is one of our strengths, directly linked to our many roles as operators and maintainers of renewable energy installations. It enables us to fully grasp the technical, operational and regulatory characteristics of renewable energy production facilities.

In almost 15 years, our portfolio of delivery substations has grown steadily, and we have been able to develop our offer to meet market trends and needs, both for the parks we operate directly, and for those managed directly by our customers or colleagues who rely on our know-how.

By 2025, VALEMO’s HVA business will represent :

  • + more than 200 delivery substations under contract ;
  • 50% of PdLs operated by VALEMO; 50% operated by colleagues benefiting from our HTA technical expertise;
  • Some twenty partners who support our regional teams to ensure maximum responsiveness;
  • Full coverage of HTA maintenance levels (1 to 4);
  • A Methods department, dedicated to structuring and continuously improving practices;
  • Ongoing training for our maintenance teams;
  • Innovative, modular offers, adapted to the constraints of each site and each customer.

Thanks to trained, qualified teams available 24/7, VALEMO ensures continuous monitoring and rapid intervention, enabling us to respond effectively to faults, outages or incidents. This organization limits downtime while preserving the safety of people and property.

Against a backdrop of increasingly stringent requirements in terms of network performance, safety and resilience, we are confirming our historic choice to perfectly master this activity autonomously, with perfect knowledge and control of the renewable energy equipment connected to it.

This enables VALEMO to assert its role as the benchmark technical partner for the management of MV installations for renewable energy production parks.
