RES Services and its partners ensure the maintenance of the offshore wind farm substation in Saint-Brieuc.

Since the end of 2023, RES Services, in partnership with VALEMO, have been deploying their teams on the electrical substation of the Breton offshore wind farm operated by Iberdrola. This collaboration, in which RES Services is the leader, enables the two companies to pool their resources in order to provide a range of services with strong local industrial content. The two companies are among the first signatories of the Charter of Commitment to Local Industrial Content proposed to service providers in the value chain by the regional clusters united under the French Offshore Renewables banner. In so doing, they are demonstrating their ability to participate in the structuring of the French offshore wind industry.

“We are delighted with Iberdrola’s confidence in RES Services and VALEMO. RES Services’ ability to support the technical offer to which VALEMO brings its expertise is a new opportunity for us to collaborate with a company of international dimension and contributes to our increase in skills necessary to reinforce our positioning with structuring players by their references and quantity of technicians”. Frédéric Prevost, Managing Director of VALEMO

At the start of 2024, our teams carried out preventive maintenance, servicing and inspections on the various systems and equipment in the electrical substation. The maintenance work carried out by our technicians covered electricity, mechanics, fluids and automation. Our work is designed to keep all these elements in working order and prevent any risk of failure or damage.
