Maintenance: VALEMO carries out maintenance on more than 75 solar roofs installations

Started in 2012 within the Valemo maintenance department, the solar roof maintenance activity remained for a long time at a marginal stage; the park being constituted until mid 2018, of 5 roofs, with a power ranging from 45 kWp to 200 kWp.

The realisation of several years of development for Optarel, in mid 2018, has boosted the portfolio in maintenance for Valemo, with the addition of 14 out of 16 stations that constitute the 1st cluster of projects named AMICUS.

The last two AMICUS roofs, commissioned in mid-2019 and late 2020 respectively, will have given the department the necessary pace to organise and perfect the maintenance of this type of installation.

Today Valemo, from its bases in Bègles, Niort and Carcassonne and with the support of its supervision department based at the headquarters, maintains 76 solar roof installations for more than 13.5 MWp, including several 500 kWp power stations with HTA substations. The number of installations should reach more than 110 rooftop solar power in less than 2 years, for about 25MWp.

Since the beginning of 2022, Valemo has been commissioning and then managing the maintenance of one to six additional roofs each month. This is mainly in the South-West of France, but in reality it is much wider, with 8 regions extending from the South of France to the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region.
