VALEMO AND CGN Europe Energy new agreement in 2023!

2023 marks the renewal of the partnership between VALEMO and CGN Europe Energy!

We are proud to announce that the collaboration with CGN Europe Energy on the maintenance and high voltage on-call services for delivery substations will continue for the next 3 years.

On January 1, 2023, the new framework contract for maintenance and high-voltage on-call services for CGN Europe Energy’s French wind farms (366 MW) will start.

We are delighted with this commercial success, which is above all a joint success for all our teams, since it involves our 9 metropolitan agencies. This contract also underlines the satisfaction of CGN Europe Energy, which renews the trust they have placed in us for the past 6 years on high voltage issues:

“The continuity of service and the ability of Valemo to intervene on all our parks spread over the French territory is a real strong point. Moreover, we are satisfied with the day-to-day relations and the way they listen to our suggestions for improvement and cooperation (Olivier). – Olivier Texier, Deputy General Manager

“We are very happy to renew our confidence in Valemo who has been able to provide us with a quality service adapted to our needs throughout these years of collaboration (Marion)”. – Marion Etcheverry, Operations team leader – France & Belgium

From an organizational and operational point of view, the operation is divided into several parts:

– Our control department is accessible 24/7 and is available to CGN Europe Energy’s operating teams, who contact us to initiate HV on-call interventions, from levels 1 to 4.

– We rely on our technical teams and/or our network of partners to intervene within a very short time on site in order to minimize production losses due to a high voltage problem.

– In parallel to this continuous service, a VALEMO maintenance coordinator coordinates the planning of high voltage preventive maintenance with CGN’s operations managers in order to optimize the downtime of the wind farms. Level 1 to 4 maintenance is performed under this contract. Preventive maintenance has been digitized since 2020, allowing data traceability and saving time and comfort on site. To learn more about this, you can follow this link.

– In case of a major problem on the installations, VALEMO is able to respond and find solutions to repair and/or replace the defective components.

The skills and expertise of our teams and our network of partners allow CGN to have a single point of contact, responsible and a force of proposal for these very strategic subjects for the production of the park.

More globally, these 43 projects are part of VALEMO’s global high voltage strategy, which joins the 80+ other contracts already in progress.
