When it comes to the operation and maintenance of renewable energies (wind, solar, hydro, and soon BESS), control and rapid access to reliable, usable data are essential.<\/p>\n\n
With this in mind, Valemo has developed an in-house suite of business tools specifically designed to support its teams in monitoring and analyzing asset performance.<\/p>\n\n
These tools, entirely developed on the Azure cloud and connected to a centralized datalake, guarantee optimal scalability, high availability and enhanced security of data, all stored and processed in Europe.<\/p>\n\n
We present the three major solutions integrated into our digital ecosystem:<\/p>\n\n
\n
PIVERT, the intelligent handrail, which structures and enriches operating events based on SCADA data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
COLIBRI, a Power BI report catalog that transforms data into usable analyses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
ARA, an automated alert system for early detection of critical anomalies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
These multi-energy tools (wind, solar, hydro) are tailor-made to meet the specific needs of operations managers and optimize their day-to-day work.<\/p>\n\n
Pivert – The intelligent handrail<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n
One of the fundamental tools for the operation of renewable energy assets is the so-called “main courante”, which is a register (digital at Valemo) used to record events, interventions and observations <\/strong>linked to the operation and maintenance of energy assets (wind turbines, solar panels, dams, etc.).<\/p>\n\n
PIVERT <\/strong>est notre application web interne permettant de structurer et enrichir cette main courante en combinant les donn\u00e9es issues du SCADA avec les annotations des charg\u00e9s d\u2019exploitation.<\/p>\n\n
Each event detected automatically by SCADA or our detection algorithms is integrated into the log, but the operator retains total control over this information: he or she can modify, merge or split events, add classifications and enrich the data with detailed comments.<\/p>\n

PIVERT <\/strong>also offers a range of pages providing the visual and analytical information that operators need to<\/strong> better understand the life of their plant and the events in their handbook:<\/p>\n

This data, enhanced and validated by the operations manager, combined with SCADA data from the assets, is then used to automatically generate :<\/p>\n\n

Colibri – Analysis at your fingertips<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n
To complement PIVERT and take analysis even further, we have developed COLIBRI, a catalog of Power BI reports designed to provide our operations managers with a clear, usable view of data from SCADA and manual data.<\/p>\n\n
Users no longer need to manually extract and manipulate raw data: they access relevant analyses directly by simply selecting the items to be studied, with the option of filtering by fleet, machine or specific component, or making comparisons with other fleets.<\/p>\n

Ara – Automated vigilance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n
Finally, the third pillar of the tools made available to our operations managers is ARA, an automated alert system ensuring daily monitoring of key data from our asset portfolio.<\/p>\n\n
A battery of alerts automatically detects performance, reagent, temperature and SDA monitoring anomalies, as well as deviations from the curtailment plan, on the basis of objective or machine-learning criteria.<\/p>\n\n
Every morning, each operations manager receives a personalized e-mail providing a targeted overview of potential problems with his or her assets, making it easier to prioritize actions to be taken.<\/p>\n
