This initiative is part of a drive to reclaim energy for citizens, and supports the TEPOS objective of energy autonomy by 2050.<\/p>\n\n<p>This cooperative project mobilizes almost 380 members who have actively participated in its development, by investing part of their savings. Featuring 3 wind turbines with a blade tip height of 200 meters, the wind farm will generate nearly 48.5 GWh per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 10,6000 households. <br\/>The PEAM is a symbol of local energy transition, and has been awarded the \u201cEnergie Partag\u00e9e\u201d label for its citizen-based model.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last June, VALEMO took over operation of the first citizen-owned wind farm in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region to feature the largest blades in France.
